Bring your gas grill up to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the steelhead over direct heat low heat. After the fish is on the grates, place the grill cover down, but do not walk away from your grill. Don’t get distracted doing something else. Instructions
Rub Sesame Oil over the steelhead trout
Sprinkle the steelhead with Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, and kosher salt.
Heat Gas grill up to 375 degrees F
Once the grill is hot place the steelhead trout skin side down and close the lid. Make sure the flame is on low.
Grill for 4 minutes and then open the lid
Sprinkle Sesame Seeds over the fish
Close the lid and grill for another 4 minutes
Remove fish and drizzle sesame seed oil over the fish.
Notes
Make sure the grill is clean before you put the steelhead on. Bring the internal temp up to at least 135 degrees Fahrenheit.
